When: Saturday 4th October 2014
                Saturday 29th November 2014
Time:    8.00a.m. for stall holders. All stalls must be set up no later than 9.45a.m.
 Open to the public:  10.00a.m. – 3.00p.m.

Before you apply: please note that we have a strict remit for stall holders.
Vintage stalls must sell genuine vintage and antique items; handmade items must be made by the stall holders themselves, from vintage or new materials.
Bought in crafts, or 'assembled' items (from mass produced products) are not allowed.
We select the applicants by the above criteria, also making sure that there is an even mix
of vintage and craft categories.

We have no room for stalls promoting businesses or charities, or selling food products.
Kitsch and Stitch supports the Hospice in the Weald; the refreshments are homemade, donated and sold by the Friends of The Hospice to raise much needed funds for the Charity.

Selling at Kitsch and Stitch:
To ensure a good mix of trades we will restrict the number of stalls in any one category and stalls are by invitation only.
Booking forms will be sent with the invitation and must be returned together with a copy of a current Public Liability Insurance policy for £5m minimum.

We are not requiring payment at the time of booking, if you have been successful in your request for a pitch we will email you with details of payment procedure.

If you are interested in being added to our stall holder contact list, please apply by email, giving full details of you and your products, supported with photos and website details, to

or phone: 01732 506104      mob: 07847 344835
Stalls:  The non-refundable charge for each stall is £35.00.
Stalls are 6ft wide and up to 3/4ft deep, depending on how you set up your stall.
Some spaces are back to the wall and have access to electrical sockets, others are in adjacent pairs in the centre of the Hall with no electricity.
Stall holders may request a table and are also welcome to bring their own display equipment. Attaching anything to the wall or floor is not allowed.
There are approx. 7 - 4ft x 2.5ft  and  12 - 6ft x 2.5ft tables available:  stall holders may request one on the booking form. These will be issued at no extra charge.
Some stall holders may prefer to provide all their display tables and equipment, again this can be stated on the booking form. They must not exceed 6’ x 2.5’
We expect stallholders to dress their stall to a high standard.
Stalls can be arranged as a walk-in style, rather than 'stand behind' counters if wished.
Refreshments: 2 vouchers for tea or coffee will be issued to stall holders. Cakes and slices will be sold in aid of The Hospice in the Weald. More substantial refreshments are available in the town – or bring your own.

Unloading and Parking:   For unloading, cars can be parked on the road outside the hall for the short time it takes. Cars will then have to be parked in the town’s free car parks. These are only a short walk from the Hall.
There is a flight of stairs from the street up to the hall, though to avoid those there is a ramp and short path to a side entrance. A small trolley/wheels to transport your loads might be useful.

Publicity:  The organisers will publicise the event in Kent and East Sussex. We aim to place adverts in Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Tenterden, Rye and Ashford, and further afield via local newspapers, magazines and shops; on-line marketing methods will also be used.
Stall holders also distribute fliers in their local area.
