All our expectations were exceeded!
We declare the first
Kitsch and Stitch Vintage and Makers' Fair
to be a huge success!

A BIG BIG Thank You to all the fabulous stall holders,
for the gorgeous displays and the high quality of their handmade products and vintage treasures.

We had hoped for a good turn out from the public. It is something, as organisers, that we fear the most - that no-one will turn up!

Well we needn't have worried .
All the hard work of marketing the Fair, listing the event on as many
on-line listings as we could find; dropping off flyers to surrounding villages;
putting ads. into local papers and publications
all paid off, because the beautiful Grade 2 listed Vestry Hall was
full of visitors all day.

The Hospice in the Weald made lots of
delicious cakes and slices for the refreshments,
alongside endless cups of coffee and tea.
All the proceeds of their hard work went to the Hospice,
and many of the customers were suitably refreshed!

Feedback for the fair has been very encouraging,
and I have found it mentioned on a couple of blogs:

Linda and I are now evaluating our efforts and
will soon start working on preparations for the next fair
Saturday 3rd September.

Watch this page!!
Further photos of the fair will be posted soon!
