Another Stall Holder, more Kitsch and Stitch Fairs and an Update!

The Cloth Hall

The Cloth Hall, based in the heart of Kent, offers an unusual range of handmade accessories
and include the signature Shredded Boa and It's Not Crochet scarves.
Drawing on inspiration from floral and organic forms these inventive pieces offer the wearer a
classic yet original and timeless idea.
Jane Bourne is an artist and designer working with textiles.
Her involvement spans over 30 years.

Her client list during that time and her design portfolio
ranges in its diversity from elaborate painted abstracts for Missoni
to specially commissioned wrapping paper for Leeds Castle.

We have been thrilled with the response for pitches at our first fair.....
so Linda and I have decided
to hold the Fair four times a year!
We have two new dates for this year.....

Saturday 3rd September 2011
Saturday 3rd December 2011
The Vestry Hall

and an UPDATE......from Linda

All the stalls have been booked and committed to by payments.   This means we have a full Vestry Hall.                                       The level of interest to be part of our first event has been high, so much so, we have unfortunately had to turn people away.
Advertising is being undertaken, we plan lots of leaflet drops, and flyers will be sent for stallholders to use as promotional material.

Please remember that the concept for the fair is that of genuine 'Vintage and Hand made' wares.  It is not appropriate to have bought-in crafted items.

The event is really gathering momentum now and it promises to be an exciting day.

Debbie and I look forward to meeting you and seeing all our concerted efforts make for a regular quarterly event.

Another stallholder for Kitsch and Stitch....

The Aviary was born over tea and biscuits from a shared love of redesign and they specialize in hand-made, decorative home-wares, gift items and keepsakes utilizing vintage ephemera.
Just lovely!

If you happen to visit Bluewater for a spot of shopping, pop into
Urban Outfitters and take a look at the 'Gallery' between the bookshelves.
The Aviary have an exhibition of their work, all of which is for sale.

But on the other hand, wait until May and you can buy from them, in person, at the Kitsch and Stitch Fair.

Don't forget to make this a date for your diary

Linda and Debs would love to see you all there.
